  • 3 tbsp thick tamarind water

  • 3 garlic, cut thinly
  • 3 tbsp fried shallots
  • 2 candlenuts
  • 1 tsp ginger powder

  • 300 ml of liquid coconut milk
  • 1 lemongrass
  • 3 lime leaves
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
